LAMOURE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier Rebels (14-2) used the two headed attack of Cale Mathern and Alex Huber to notch a fifth district in over the LaMoure-Litchville/Marion Loboes (8-9) 60-47.

EKM has won 8 games in a row now by an average of 18 points, and has allowed 47 points in three consecutive games.

Mathern and Huber were brilliant once again for the Rebels. The duo combined for 44 points and Mathern nailed four 3-pointers in the victory.

It wasn’t just the duo of Mathern and Huber that contributed to the win either. As a team EKM shot 17-20 (85%) at the free throw line to secure another district victory.

LaMoure was led by Rory Gentzkow who, after a slow started, finished with a team high 15 points. The Loboes drop to 8-9 overall and 3-3 in district play. Next time out for LLM is Thursday at home against Medina-Pingree/Buchanan.

EKM hosts Carrington Thursday night.
