JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – One Day. One Town. One Million Dollars.
That’s the high goal for 15 charities in and around the Jamestown area for the annual Giving Hearts Day on Thursday, February 13th.
Casie Hardin with Alpha Opportunities says all participating non-profits work together to raise as much money as they can.
Hardin believes the goal is possible, considering they had unofficially raised around $820,000 in 2019.
Put on by the Dakota Medical Foundation, Alex Stern Foundation, and Impact Institution gives seed money to different communities to help advertise the event. They also work to match some organizations fundraising efforts.
Numerous organizations are participating and this includes James Valley Youth For Christ. Here’s Troy Gunderson.
