VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Commissioner Ross Powell announced that he will not seek re-election to another term on the city commission.
Powell, who also serves on the Valley City Park Board, said he could no longer make the time commitment needed to serve both of the boards.

Powell was elected in a special election back in May of 2017 to fill out the remaining term of former city commissioner Rick Ross. The seat is up for election citywide on Tuesday, June 9th.
