VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Commission approved a resolution to transfer $629,000 from the Sewer Department to the city Water Department due to a negative cost deficit over the last five years at the water treatment plant.

Spokesman Gary Jacobson said the city commission also approved of transferring $428,000 from the Electrical Department to the city Street Department to cover a negative cost deficit due to snow removal over the last five winters.

The city commission unanimously approved of the resolution on Tuesday, February 4th.
