JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Stutsman County United Way continues to work towards their campaign goal in 2020.

Jamestown United Way is part of United Way Worldwide. Its mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good. The current impact model emphasizes that 99% of all funds raised stays within in Stutsman County.

Becky Kercher says their goal this year is $210,000. If that goal is reached, multiple agencies in Stutsman County will benefit.

To reach this goal, United Way will be holding a bingo event on Monday, February 24th at the KC Hall from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Arnell McDonald says they’ll also have a variety of silent auction items and a chance to win money through the family friendly event.

Kercher added that there will also be some agency participation, so people interested to learn more about the organizations United Way helps in the area can do so at the event.
