JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For the second straight year, the Jamestown High girls hockey team has knocked off Grand Forks. Jamestown picked up a 4-3 win on Tuesday night at Wilson Arena.

The Jays scored three consecutive second period goals to a take a 4-1 lead. Sydney Mittleider, Kaycee Johnson and Abby Grounds all lit the lamp.

Grand Forks would score twice on goalie Erika Anderson in the third period, but it would not be enough. Anderson turned away 18 shots.

Jamestown is at Mandan on Tuesday.
