project-2

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Park Board went over maintenance projects for 2020 as they prepare for the upcoming camping season.

Park Superintendent Karl Bergh stated that the overview he brought forth was based off of a few different factors.

Some of the projects included sanding and painting picnic tables, hard trimming trees throughout the campground, removing some playground equipment that was no longer safe, and more.

Bergh says they would also like to move cabins to a more permanent location. These cabins were moved earlier this year due to flooding, but would be moved to to a permanent site. He pointed out that the space left open by the cabins would then become RV campsites.

Park Board member Joan Morris suggest Bergh come up with other projects around the county they could put on a list that would be addressed sometime.

Bergh stated he would compile a list and bring it back to the board for them to look over.
