CARRINGTON, N.D.  (NewsDakota.com) The 2020 Class B Region 2 wrestling duals will be held in Carrington on Saturday, February 8th. Nine teams, including Carrington, will all have a chance to compete for a trip to the State Wrestling tournament that runs Thursday through Saturday, February 20th-22nd at the Fargodome. Action starts at 10am and will continue throughout the day until about 5pm. Pembina County North is the one seed and will have a first round bye, Carrington is the two seed and will take on the seventh seed Harvey/Wells County at 11am. The top two teams will advance to the state tournament. Last year, Hillsboro/CV and Central Cass advanced. Here is the first round schedule:

10am – Mayport/CG vs. Northwood

10am – Hillsboro/Central Valley vs. Grafton

11am – No. 3 Central Cass vs. Larimore

11am – No. 2 Carrington vs. Harvey/WC

12pm – No. 1 Pembina County North vs. winner of Mayport/Northwood
