VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Several firefighters were recognized for their volunteer services with the Valley City Fire Department during their annual awards banquet on Saturday, January 25th.
Several firefighters were honored for their years of service in the department. They include Ron Burchill 40 yrs, Gary Peterson 40 yrs, Scott Magnuson 35 yrs, Jeff Schlittenhardt 35 yrs , Ryan Metcalf 10 yrs, Kelly Everson 5 yrs, Pastor Dave Montecullo 5 yrs, and Will Blunck II for 5 yrs of service.
Meanwhile, the annual Fireman’s Smoker will be held Friday, January 31st in the Valley City Eagles Club. You must be 21 years of age to attend. The $10 ticket includes food, games, a raffle and a pinochle tournament. The event starts at 6pm.
