With assistance from the North Dakota Highway Patrol and Foster County Sheriff’s Office, two individuals were taken into custody without incident. The one year old child was found inside the motel unharmed. The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office in western Wisconsin had said the child, Sawyer Jacobs, was missing and endangered but was located safe.
Jessica Cleasby, 34, and Jamey Cleasby, 52, are both currently being held at the Stutsman County Correctional Center on warrants out of Wisconsin. The sheriff of Griggs County says Jessica Cleasby had lost custody of her son because of drug use.
