VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Hi-Lites Dance team is heading to Grand Forks for the 2020 NDADD State Competition.
The Hi-Lites were state champions in Hip Hop last year and two of the last three years.
Competition will begin at 2pm on Friday with High Kick Prelims with the finals to follow. Pom Prelims are at 5:30 with the finals to follow.
Saturday the competition will begin with Jazz prelims at 9am, the finals to follow then the Hip Hop and Jr. High prelims and finals.
The State Competition is being held at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks.
Other area schools in the competition are, Jamestown, Carrington, Kindred and Barnes County North.
