BISMARCK, N.D. (Prairie Public News) – North Dakota is enjoying a period of warmer weather, after last week’s snow and cold.
Temperatures over much of the state will be at or above freezing. That compares with highs last week that sometimes had trouble climbing above zero.
So how long can this milder weather last?
Michael Hollan is a forecaster with the National Weather Service in Bismarck.
Hollan says February marks the last full month of the “meteorological winter,” and that means Arctic outbreaks are possible. However…
And Hollan says for now, there are no signs of any major winter storm that would impact our area.
