JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown is continuing to explore and monitor new trends in collegiate academics.
Higher education continues to experience new trends. University of Jamestown Provost Dr. Paul Olson.
STEAM, or Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, has continually been implemented in higher education and Dr. Olson says the University continues to monitor and adjust their curriculum accordingly for current and future students.
Dr. Olson says recent renovations to their building and added equipment has been an exciting addition to the campus.
Other additional opportunities for the University is their SmartLabs, which Dr. Olson says are being utilized daily.
Ultimately, Dr. Olson says they’ve been gathering data and listening to alumni, current students, board of trustees, the community, and others for what they should be focused on and bring to the University to ensure their students are afforded the most opportunity when they graduate.
