Northern Crops Institute
FARGO, N.D. (January 9, 2020) –
The Northern Crops Institute (NCI), in conjunction with the North Dakota Grain Dealers Association (NDGDA), South Dakota Grain & Feed Association (SDGFA) and Minnesota Grain & Feed Association (MGFA) are hosting participants from across the mid-west for the second installment of the Grain Industry Emerging Leader Program.
The two-and-a-half-day program runs March 24-26, 2020 and will take place at the Northern Crops Institute. This course is a continuation of a previous course, but is not restricted only to those who attended the first course. We welcome anyone who is interested in learning about the transition from a grain elevator employee to a managerial role.
Throughout the course, attendees will be given the opportunity to hear from industry professionals about their experiences in strategic finance, learn human resource and team management strategies, and think about long term strategic planning for their business. By the completion of the course, attendees will also be able to understand financial statements, and how they interact, which will help better their evaluations of their business performance.
