CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Carrington Community Planning is continuing their surveys as they work on a new strategic plan.

The leadership of the Carrington Area Chamber of Commerce, Carrington Community Development Corporation, Carrington Convention & Visitors Bureau, and City of Carrington are working together to learn more about the needs and wants of Carrington area residents.

Carrington Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Laurie Dietz says the survey issued last fall has wrapped up, but the committee is far from done with the strategic plan.

Dietz says right now, they’re doing a “Mainstreet inventory” to figure out what buildings in the community will fit with the strategic plan. This includes what building’s can be improved moving forward.
