North Dakota Farm Bureau
NDFB is gearing up for the upcoming Farm and Ranch Conference, January 31-February 2, 2020 in Fargo. Starting off the conference is social media influencer The Farm Babe. Michelle Miller is known for her most popular and vibrant food and farming social media followings, the Farm Babe. Miller brings a unique perspective as a big city globetrotter turned Iowa Farm girl, and plants the seed inside the minds of those looking to understand the truth about modern agricultural production.
The conference begins Friday night, January 31 at the Fargo Brewing Company. Food will be served and following The Farm Babe will be a cornhole tournament.
The conference is open to anyone who is looking to grow as a leader, ignite their passion for agriculture and have some fun while doing it.
Saturday will offer several breakout sessions. The topics encompass a mix of education and fun, including:
- Market Update with Frayne Olson
- Precision Ag with Sarah Lovas
- Cover Crops with Luke Ressler
- BBQ Bootcamp
- Beer Brewing
- Breakout Room
Also, on Saturday will be the state Discussion Meet. The Discussion Meet gives contestants a chance to show their leadership skills during a competitive event that simulates a committee meeting where discussion and active participation are expected. The winner will receive a Polaris four-wheeler and compete at the national AFBF Discussion Meet in San Diego, Calif., in 2021!
The Dueling Pianos will provide Saturday night’s entertainment.
