MANDAN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – There were only minor injuries following a crash involving a school bus 6 miles North of Mandan Tuesday afternoon.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that the school bus was crossing County Road 140 from James Drive to Terrier Lane when a Dodge Caravan struck the passenger side of the bus.

The school bus driver and six juvenile passengers were not injured. The two occupants of the Caravan reported minor injuries.

The driver of the school bus was cited for failing to yield.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
