JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – As 2019 continues to disappear in the rearview mirror, the end of numerous North Dakota hunting seasons quickly approaches.
North Dakota Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says this weekend will be the final weekend of several hunting seasons in the state.
Leier also encourages anyone who may be snowmobiling following the major snowfall, to be aware of your surroundings.
He also encourages the public to not harass wildlife.
Leier says you should be considering hunter education courses and looking up when the next one will be held near you.
You can listen to Doug Leier every Thursday at 7:35 AM with JD in the Morning on Big Dog 95.5 FM.
