VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Valley City is reminding the public that snow removal and garbage pickup for the entire city will continue Thursday and Friday.

Public Works Director Jeff Differding said crews will be widening city streets over the next two days and sanding icy road surfaces. He also cautioned motorists to approach intersections slowly being snow is piled high at many intersections. Crews won’t be able to remove snow from intersections until next week.

Differding said three garbage trucks will be running Thursday and Friday to remove all remaining residential and commercial garbage from the city as well.
