JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The James River Valley Library System will be hosting a “Food for Fines” drive January 2nd through the 31st.
Children’s Librarian Jennifer Senger states that they’ll be accepting non-perishable foods or toiletry items at any branch of the James River Valley Library System during the month. She says then, they’ll forgive overdue fines.
“It’s that easy,” Senger stated. “Charges for lost or damaged items will not be forgiven, only overdue fines for materials that have been returned late will be forgiven. All donations will be given to the local food pantries.”
