VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The state of North Dakota established a funding mechanism called the Main Street Program to renovate outside structures of businesses in cities across the state.
Valley City/Barnes County Director of Economic Development Jennifer Feist talked about the focus for Valley City.
But, she said funds have to be approved by a Regional Council across the state.
The Valley City Commission unanimously approved of several blocks in the downtown district and one on Main for the program.
The Main Street Program is part of Governor Doug Burgum’s plan to revitalize businesses in the state.
