JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A portion of 1st Avenue in Jamestown will remain closed until further notice.

Due to a water main break, 1st Avenue will be closed to through traffic from 1 st St. South to 4th St. North. Traffic will continue to be diverted to 2nd St. East and 2nd St. West

Motorists should use extreme caution when traveling in the area.

Jamestown Public Works expects the road to be reopened in the next week.
