VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City placed three gymnasts in the top four and won two of four events to take home first place at the Hi-Liner Invite at the Youth Sports Complex Friday night.

The Hi-Liners had 139.4 points followed by Jamestown with 138.675. Fargo North/South was third with a score of 124.600. Fargo Davies was fourth with a score 117.475.

Karina Olson was first in the bars and beam and second in the vault and floor and was first in the all-around. Abbey Thornton was third in the bars and fourth in both the beam and floor to finish second in the all-around. Olivia Olson was fourth in the all-around. She took third in the vault, fifth in the bars, and second in the beam.

The Hi-Liners are off until January 4th when they will host the Jamestown Blue Jays at the Youth Sports Complex.
