JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – One Jamestown Shriners club is creating a cornhole league in 2020, which will raise money for their overall mission.
The EZ Wheels Shriner Club is a group that consists of car and motorcycle enthusiasts. Member Craig Beedy says they have the same mission as the other Shriner clubs in the community.
Ron Qual says they also hold numerous fundraisers and events for different charities in the area.
Beedy stated that every year, all the Shriner clubs get together and calculate the total amount they’ve raised over the year.
The EZ Wheels Club has held a cornhole tournament for the past two years and will do so again this year. But, they will also be unveiling the first ever Jamestown cornhole league in 2020.
Qual says because the league is new, they’ll be accepting the first 16 teams and four players per team. Each team will play three matches per week on Wednesdays.
He stated that it’s about time the Jamestown area started a cornhole league.
Beedy added that while they’re excited to bring this league to the community, they want everyone to remember that all proceeds will be helping their overall mission.
Following the league wrap-up, the club will be holding their 3rd annual Cornhole Tournament on March 8th. More details will be released as the date comes closer and will be open to everyone.
