JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Commission approved two projects for the courthouse and Extension office heading into 2020.
Jim Fetting, Courthouse Maintenance Supervisor, came before the commission to discuss HVAC Improvements for the Extension Office.
Fettig reported that he received two bids to put a heating and air conditioning system to take care of the remodeled part of the building. This would also be used to provide heat to the kitchen.
Fettig made the recommendation to approve the bid of $10,990 to Bakkegard & Schell of Valley City. The commission unanimously approved.
Later, Howie Peuser, LEC Maintenance Supervisor, came before the commission concerning the replacement of all three Law Enforcement Center garage doors.
Peuser reports that all three garage doors have been in place since it was built in 1986.
Peuser stated that he recommended a bid of $11,716 to PS Garage Doors in Grand Forks. He stated they would also have windows built into the garage doors.
The LEC committee also made the recommendation to approve the bid to PS Garage Doors. He estimates the project to be completed in January 2020.
The commission unanimously approved.
