CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Central Dakota Ag Day has been scheduled for December 5th in Carrington at the NDSU Carrington Research Extension Center (CREC).

Producers and others will get an opportunity to learn about the latest farm bill, crop marketing and feeding poor-quality wheat and corn to livestock, as well as other agricultural issues.

NDSU Extension Agent Alicia Harstad says they’ll have a variety of workshops and breakout sessions.

Following the workshops and breakouts, Harstad says they’ll end with a panel discussion featuring speakers from the breakout sessions.

Harstad says the event is also a group effort with several county extension services.

The workshop will begin at 9 AM and conclude at around 3 PM.
