ZEELAND, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Wishek Police Department has identified a wanted individual after reports of poaching near Zeeland over the weekend.

The department provided a photo asking for individuals to be on the lookout for the vehicle pictured. The department stated the person of interest is initially wanted for poaching large game and fleeing the landowner.

The vehicle license plate displays 537 LAJ, but is an unknown state plate.

“Because of the social media attention, enough information was gathered to identify the subject,” the Department stated Sunday night.
