FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A night after a scintillating championship performance, the Oakes Tornadoes were slated as the number one overall seed in the 2019 Class B State Volleyball Tournament.

Oakes drew Stanley High School in the first round on Thursday at 5:00 at Fargo Dome. Stanley finished the season with a 22-12 record and defeated Kenmare in five sets to win the Region 8 championship match.
