VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Area Chamber Ambassadors recognized area dispatchers for their hard work with their Community Service Award.

Employees at the Barnes County 911 Dispatch Center in Valley City work 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Barnes County 911 Dispatch Center dispatches for 2 Law Enforcement agencies, 7 EMS/Quick Responder Unit Agencies, and 13 Fire Departments as well as answering all of the 911 calls for Barnes County. The Barnes County 911 Dispatch Center has 10 Full Time Dispatchers and 2 Part Time Dispatchers.
