JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown will be holding a public input meeting on November 5th concerning the proposed Road Diet on Mainstreet.

According to the North Dakota Department of Transportation and the City of Jamestown, both have been working together to redesign and construct US Highway 52 in Jamestown.

“The project consists of [the] road diet, signal modifications, bulb-outs, sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, bike racks, benches, trash & recycling receptacles, landscaping, LED lighting, and storm sewer,” a release states. “The meeting is designed to allow for public input.”

On Tuesday, November 5th, the public input meeting will go from 5 PM to 7 PM with the formal presentation at 5:30 PM at Jamestown City Hall.

“Project members will be available to discuss the project and answer your questions,” the city states. “Your feed back and suggestions are valuable, and we look forward to hearing from you.”
