JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The holidays are tough for many families and the Jamestown Salvation Army is available to meet some of those needs.
During the winter months, the Salvation Army provides their Christmas Assistance, Angel Tree program, and hosts their bell ringing campaign to support these and other programs through the year.
Major Judy Lowder says right now, they’re taking in applications for the Christmas Assistance portion of their services.
Major Lowder says those who want to apply for the assistance need to meet the requirements needed to receive the help. This includes providing current photo identification, proof of a current address, a copy of your lease, utility bill from recent months, proof of income, and more.
Days to apply for the assistance are Monday through Thursdays from 2 PM to 5 PM. The final day you can apply is Thursday, November 14th.
If you have any questions or want to apply for the assistance, you can call 701-252-0290 or the Salvation Army Cell at 701-269-3930.
