BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High volleyball team picks up another West Region victory knocking off St. Mary’s 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-18) inside their new gym in Bismarck.

In each of the first two sets, Jamestown trailed by five points. St. Mary’s jumped in front 17-12 midway through the opener. The Jays came storming back with a 9-0 run to wrestle away control.

The Saints jumped ahead quickly in the second 7-2, only to see Jamestown regain control again quickly.

Jamestown is now in a tie with Mandan for second place in the West. They can clinch no less than second if they win out and that would include a win at Mandan next week.
