Calvin Schlenker, 78, of Gackle, ND, passed away early Sunday morning, October 27, 2019 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.

Calvin Schlenker was born October 9, 1941 at Gackle, the son of Ted and Flora (Morlock) Schlenker. He retired from farming but still enjoyed fixing things, gardening, and mowing lawn. Calvin loved to hunt deer, fish, and going to auction sales.

He will be sadly missed by his family and enjoyed being part of their lives: wife, DeAnn of 55 years; two sons, Sheldon (Tina) Schlenker and Tyler & Tracy, and Shannon (Jackie) Schlenker and Payton & Carter, all of Jamestown; and sister, Sherry of Fargo.

Calvin wished to have no services and to be buried next to his dogs on the farm.
