JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown High’s Meghan Ford won a second consecutive state cross country title on Saturday in Minot. Ford finished 48 seconds ahead of Watford City’s Haley Ogle.
Ford’s time was 17:41.
She will be competing in a couple more races this fall; Nike and Footlocker regionals as she tries to qualify for the national race in both events.
The Jamestown boys finished 4th as a team with two runners in the top-8. Gavin Haut finished four with a time of 15:44 and Ben Anteau took 8th place with a time of 16:10.
