MINOT, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Cross Country Teams competed at the 2019 State Cross Country Meet held Saturday at the Souris Valley Golf Course in Minot.

A total of 20 runners for VCHS ran in the competition, 10 girls and 10 boys.

The Hi-Liner girls finished 13th overall while the boys took 18th overall. Below is how each Hi-Liner faired in the race.

In the team standings, on the girls side, West Fargo ended Fargo Davies streak of state championships at three. The Packers had 95 points to Davies 110. Individually, Meghan Ford  Jamestown won her second straight championship.

For the boys, Century won its third title in four years. Individually, Brady Yoder from Dickinson was first. He is the first Dickinson state champ in Cross Country since 1977.
