JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Historic 1883 Stutsman County Courthouse will be offering a safe trick-or-treat spot and haunted house for everyone on October 31st.
Site Manager Steve Reidburn says this will be the 3rd year they’ve opened up the courthouse for Halloween happenings.
Reidburn says volunteers will prepare a safe and spooky environment for everyone Halloween evening from 5 PM to 8 PM. Those who are under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult if they go through the haunted house.
Reidburn pointed out that the event will be free, but all they ask is that those who visit make a $5 donation that will help support the courthouse and their future events.
Reidburn thanked all the volunteers and committee for helping to put the event together as well as the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
