VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Army Corp of Engineers made a gate change Thursday morning around 11:30.

Corp representative and Park Ranger at Lake Ashtabula Scott Tichy says it was a release discussed before.

Tichy says after this release they will be in a holding pattern, at least through the weekend

Tichy also says they are keeping a close watch on Lake Ashtabula as well.

The river level this morning is at 14.53FT as of 4:45am. Minor Flood Stage is 15 ft. Moderate Flood Stage is 16 ft.
