VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – West Fargo Sheyenne extended its winning streak to three and has won 11 of the last 13 matches after a straight set win Tuesday night over Valley City at the HAC.
The Mustangs won 25-23, 25-16, 25-21.
Offensively the Hi-Liners were led by Macy Olstad with 11 kills. Cali Halgrimson had eight while Jadyn Dieterle and Lindsey Noeske chipped in four each. Olstad and Halgrimson had two service aces each. Natalie Lemnus had 15 assists and Dylann Diegel added 11.
Defensively, Halgrimson led the way with 12 digs. Lemnus added 11 for the double-double. Olstad had eight and Diegel had seven.
Jadyn Feist recorded 17 kills, three aces and 13 digs to lead Sheyenne. Nadia Kranz also posted 13 digs, while McKenzie Newton and Megan Olson each had three blocks.
The Hi-Liners fall to 8-6 in the Eastern Dakota Conference and 11-8 overall. Sheyenne improves to 11-3 in the conference and 16-4 overall.
Valley City will host Fargo South on Saturday at 2pm at the HAC.
