VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The students of Washington Elementary School got an exciting demonstration by the Valley City Fire Department on Monday.

Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said this week he and other firefighters will be visiting students in the classroom educating them on the does and don’t surrounding the prevention of a possible fire.

New Valley City firefighter Luther Dietrich gave this demonstration from the tall fire truck ladder.

And Washington Elementary Principal Chad Lueck tried his hand with the same demonstration on the fire truck ladder on Monday, October 7th.
