VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fargo Shanley scored the last six points of the fourth set to come away with a 3-1 match win over Valley City at the Hi-Liner Activity Center . The Deacons won 25-16, 25-17, 20-25 and 25-23.

Reile Payne led a balanced offense with 16 kills. Paige McAllister had 14. Lander Friederichs and Mariah Burd had 10 kills each. Olivia Vetter had 49 assists.

Three Hi-Linershad double-doubles for the match. Cali Halgrimson had 12 kills and 11 digs. Macy Olstad had 11 kills and 17 digs. Dylann Diegel had 22 set assists and 11 digs. Lindsey Noeske had 10 kills, six blocks and two aces. Peyton Pederson had five kills and four blocks. Natalie Lemnus had 19 assists.

Defensively, Allysen Mathias six blocks and Macy Olstad had three.
