VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) 24-year-old Dacotah McGough continues to recover from injuries he suffered in a work-related accident on September 17th. McGough was airing up a tire on a piece of equipment and a failure caused a severe injury to his face.

His step-father Matt Olson said Dacotah suffered two separate breaks to his jaw. He was released from the hospital on September 25th. Dacotah was given a talking valve instead of communicating on a white board. He originally had a tracheotomy but the tube was removed before his release. There will be future surgeries. Dacotah and his family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, donations, emails and text messages of support.
