JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Heading into its 29th year, the St. John’s Academy HOPE Dinner & Auction is set for October 12th.
Over the years, funds raised have gone on to support students and keep tuition rates low while also funding projects and curriculum within the school.
Development Coordinator Peggy Etzold says all needs of the school can be helped through the dinner and auction.
Principal Jeff Trumbauer says they’re grateful of all the support they HOPE Dinner has seen over the years. He says their current $5.95 million expansion is an example of what the funds go towards.
Trumbauer says the project will transform the school and how they operate.
Trumbauer says the project is desperately needed to modernize portions of the school and enhance the learning experience.
Etzold took time to share their thanks for all the volunteers and those who have participated in the HOPE Dinner, pointing out that some have been a part of the dinner for each of the last 28 years.
The HOPE Dinner & Auction will be held Saturday, October 1wth at St. John’s Academy. There is a limited amount of tickets left for the evening.
