LAMOURE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Senior and four-year starter Ellie Holen had 17 kills, 25 digs and three aces to help the Loboes of Lamoure/Litchville/Marion come from behind to defeat the Cardinals of Carrington 3-2 Tuesday night in District 5 volleyball action (20-25, 20-25, 25-19, 25-20, 15-7). The Loboes improve to 13-5 overall and 2-1 in D5, Carrington drops to 12-1 overall and 1-1 in D5.

The Cardinals jumped out to an early 2-0 set advantage, but the Loboes came storming back winning the next three to win the match. Senior and three-year starter for Carrington Bella Hone had a match high 19 kills and nine stuff blocks. Senior setter Addison Hoornaert had 34 assists for the Cardinals, Allie Hebl had 45 for LLM. The Loboes had 16 total aces, three each for Holen, Ryleigh Podoll, Ashlyn Rode and Risa Rasmusson.

Next up for Carrington will be a D5 match up at Ellendale on Tuesday, Oct. 1st, KDAK will have coverage starting about 645pm, next up for LLM will be at Kensal vs. Midkota on Tuesday, Oct. 1st for a D5 contest.
