Fall has arrived, and along with that cooler weather is in store this week. However, we will still be under the warm air advection today. An area of low pressure will move across our region bringing a cold front behind it that will move through later this evening. Along with that, anticipate a few scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some unsettle air behind it will leave a few lingering thunderstorms this evening. Rain chances will stay mainly north of I-94.
Cooler air will filter in behind the cold front dropping temperatures by about ten degrees four your Wednesday. The wind will pick up also. A northerly flow of air will keep temperatures down.
Another cold front on Thursday brings another chance for rain Thursday and Thursday evening.
Sunshine returns on Friday, but spotty showers remain throughout the weekend.
