JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The final votes have been tallied and the Jamestown Public School referendum has failed.
Jamestown Schools Superintendent Dr. Rob Lech reports that there was a total of 1,936 votes. Of those, 746 were in support with 1,172 in opposition. With 39.4% of the vote, the referendum failed to meet the 60% threshold needed to pass.
