JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – As people look to be active during the cold months, the Two Rivers Activity Center in Jamestown is preparing for the rush with facility maintenance and upgrades.
Amy Walters, TRAC Facilities Manager, says the fall months allow them to prepare for the busy months ahead as people look to exercise indoors.
Walters says the TRAC has seen an uptick in visitors and new members with various membership promotions and fall recreation activities.
Walters also announced that the TRAC was recognized for their innovation by the North Dakota Recreation and Parks Association at their annual conference with the Golden Egg Award.
Walters said the TRAC nominated the Jamestown Public Schools for a Partnership Award for the work between the two on childhood literacy through their early childhood programs.
