JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Both Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer announced Friday of more than $21 million in DOT grants for the state.
Projects included are:
Airport Improvement Project
- Dickinson – Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport – $13,000,000 to acquire additional land for the third phase of extending the taxiway and runway.
- Watford City Municipal Airport – $3,238,767 to acquire additional land for the reconstruction and realignment of existing runway.
- Mandan Municipal Airport – $1,152,093 to reconstruct existing hangar taxiway pavement.
- Jamestown Regional Airport – $1,002,189 to design reconstruction of apron pavement.
- Mohall Municipal Airport – $824,000 to extend and widen the runway.
- Bismarck Municipal Airport – $766,800 to fund the fourth phase of drainage improvements to relocate wetlands and reduce wildlife collisions.
- Park River – W C Skjerven Field Airport – $260,000 to construct a public parking lot and reconstruct the access road.
- Stanley Municipal Airport – $165,151 to conduct an aeronautical survey evaluating Required Navigation Performance Approaches.
- Ellendale Municipal Airport – $75,600 to construct a taxiway to provide access to aircraft hangars.
“Investing in infrastructure remains a top priority as it helps us better meet the demands of our state’s expanding economy,” said Hoeven. “Today’s funds further improve and update local airports, helping them stay competitive while safely meeting local demands.”
