JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High volleyball team picked up a huge WDA win on Tuesday night at Jerry Meyer Arena over Mandan 3-2 (23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 22-25, 15-7). It was the first conference loss for Mandan this year after a 5-0 start that included five-set wins over St. Mary’s and Bismarck.
Three weeks into the season, there are five teams with only loss in the WDA; Jamestown, Century, Mandan, Bismarck and St. Mary’s. The Saints beat Legacy 3-1 last night while Bismarck and Century swept Watford City and Dickinson, respectively.
Jamestown was lead in kills by Grace Hegerle who had 15. Jessa Anderson added 13 and Ella Roaldson with 12.
The Jays will travel to Watford City on Friday and Williston on Saturday.
