PARK RIVER, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Senior Bella Hone had a match high 12 kills and six stuff blocks to help the Cardinals sweep the Aggies of Park River/Fordville/Lankin Tuesday night 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-17). Carrington improves to 5-0 overall, PRFL drops to 3-7 overall.

The first two sets were back and forth, the second set featured five ties, but the third and final set Carrington led the entire way. Senior Addison Hoornaert had 23 assists, she is about 18 assists away from tying the school record of 1,906 set by Brooke (Rosenau) Page. Sophomore Sydnie Grager added six kills and three blocks as well for the Cardinals. PRFL was led by Gigi Brouillard with seven kills.

Next up for Carrington will be another non-region match against New Rockford/Sheyenne on Thursday in Carrington, KDAK will cover the varsity match starting about 7pm.
