WEST FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 12-year-old boy from West Fargo who’s courage and positive attitude was an inspiration to all of us as he battled an aggressive form of brain cancer for two years died at his home.
At 10, Landon Solberg was diagnosed with a rare malignant brain tumor in December of 2017, when he was brought in for what were thought to be piercing migraines.
Landon passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 17th surrounded by his family and wrapped in love,” the entry posted Tuesday afternoon said on Landon’s CaringBridge site.
Earlier this month, Landon received a FaceTime call from Taylor Swift and was given a Summit League Championship ring from the North Dakota State men’s basketball team.
Landon Solberg also has family members who live in Valley City.
